It is with great joy that we welcome you to the new website of the Region of Crete, an interactive platform for information, services, communication and transparency.
Since the first day of taking office, we have pledged to bring the citizen to the epicenter of our planning, to upgrade and modernize our services, to prove in practice that the work done in the Region of Crete "is the work of many people."
Based on that commitment, we have designed and implemented the new innovative web portal, a website that provides opportunities for direct services for citizens and citizen intervention, thus promoting the concept of e-government.
With the use of smart and innovative applications and the simplification of e-services, the Region of Crete continues to look into the future, ready to face the great global challenges of the digital era and open data.
In its subsections, citizens can be directly informed about the daily operations and activities of the Region, perform administrative acts and be informed on each sub-sector and regional unit promptly and effectively.
The new website of the Region of Crete reflects our vision for Crete, which is nothing less than render the Region of Crete a model region in Europe. A region that is extrovert. A Region founded on cooperation, synergy, and the cooperation of all its social forces.
